Este o revista saptamanala de cultura, aparuta la Brasov de la 2 ianuarie la 25 decembrie 1837, redactata de I. Barac. Este prima revista literara aparuta in Transilvania, conceputa sub forma de magazin, si subventionata de negustorii brasoveni Rudolf Orghidan si Dimitrie Marin. Caracterele sunt semichirilice, tiparite in tipografia lui Johan Gott.
De la numarul 8 isi ia numele de “Foae de Dumineca”.


The Sunday Leaf
This is a cultural weekly magazine, printed in Brasov since 2nd of January until 25th of December 1837, edited by I. Barac. It is the first literature magazine appeared in Transylvania, conceived under this magazine layout and sponsored by the Brasovian merchantsRudolf Orghidan and Dimitrie Marin. The characters are semi-Cyrillic, printed in the print shop of Johan Gott.
From the 8th number, the magazine takes the name of “Foae de Duminica” (Leaf of Sunday)

There are 31 volumes, although the last volume isn’t visible in the picture, it is present in my library. They were published in France by H. Lamirault and later by the Sociéte Anonyme de la Grande Encyclopedie. It contains about 15 000 engravings and many maps.
The books were published as follows: 1-2: 1886, 3-4: 1887, 4: 1887, 5-6: 1888, 7-8: 1889, 8: 1889, 9-11: 1890, 12-13: 1891, 14-16: 1892, 17-18: 1893, 19-20: 1894, 21: 1895, 22: 1896, 23: 1898, 24-26: 1899, 27-8: 1900, 29-30: 1901, 31: 1902.

Sunt 31 de volume, cu toate ca in poze nu se vede ultimul volum ce este totusi present in colectie. Au fost publicate in Franta, de H. Lamirault si mai tarziu de Societe Anonyme de la Grande Encyclopedie. Contine aproximativ 15 000 gravuri si foarte multe harti. Cartile sunt publicate astfel: 1-2: 1886, 3-4: 1887, 4: 1887, 5-6: 1888, 7-8: 1889, 8: 1889, 9-11: 1890, 12-13: 1891, 14-16: 1892, 17-18: 1893, 19-20: 1894, 21: 1895, 22: 1896, 23: 1898, 24-26: 1899, 27-8: 1900, 29-30: 1901, 31: 1902.
